Points and miles travel deals for August: Earn rewards with these offers

This week, we found nonstop flights to Hawaii for only 35,000 AAdvantage miles. Delta SkyMiles members can earn triple miles on hotel stays and car rentals, and targeted World of Hyatt members can earn thousands of bonus Hyatt points.

Here’s our latest list of noteworthy new points and miles promotions for August.

Qantas Frequent Flyer program, this promotion could earn you thousands of extra points on your next hotel stay — but you’ll have to act fast. This offer ends Aug. 4.

Earn up to 50,000 bonus Qantas points when you book a stay through Qantas Hotels, depending on how much you spend:

• Spend 500-999 Australian dollars (roughly $323-$646): Earn 2,000 bonus points
• Spend AU$1,000-1,999 (roughly $646-$1,293): Earn 5,000 bonus points
• Spend AU$2,000-2,999 (roughly $1,293-$1,939): Earn 15,000 bonus points

Boost your JetBlue balance by shopping, dining and more

Qantas isn’t the only airline offering points for partner activity. With JetBlue’s TrueBlue Partner Passport Challenge, you can earn up to 7,500 bonus points for shopping, dining and spending with the program’s partners.

Targeted Amex Offer at Omni Hotels & Resorts

Domestic travel is on the rise, and North America offers plenty of opportunities for glorious fall foliage.

With this Amex Offer, you can earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $500 on one or more purchases on room rate and room charges at participating Omni Hotels & Resorts properties in the U.S. and Canada. You must enroll by Aug. 12, then you have until Sept. 12 to make a qualifying purchase.

Targeted Amex Offer at Virgin Atlantic

Virgin Atlantic has a solid network throughout the U.S., Europe, the Caribbean and other international destinations. You can save up to 12.5% by booking your Virgin Atlantic flights with this Amex Offer, which we found on The Platinum Card® from American Express.

Earn a one-time $350 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $2,800 on one or more transactions at Virgin Atlantic by Sept. 23. Earn 2,000 bonus IHG One Rewards points for every two nights you stay, or earn 8,000 bonus points for every four nights you stay, with no cap on the number of bonus points you can earn.
